'Hospice Legal Line'

Hospice Education and Legal Partnership, Inc.

Hospice Education and Legal Partnership (HELP), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Tucson, Arizona. Also known as Hospice Legal Line, HELP was created to provide legal assistance to people who meet hospice criteria or have been diagnosed with HIV or a terminal illness (having a prognosis of six months or less if the disease or illness runs its normal course).  Services are provided to not only the client, but also to family members, caretakers, and other persons associated with that person. It is not necessary for the client to be receiving hospice care.  He or she may be receiving hospice care, palliative care, aggressive treatment, or no treatment at all.  All that is needed is a terminal diagnosis. Legal services are provided based on a sliding scale fee or pro-bono.  Services are made possible from community donations and volunteer services.

How We Help

H.E.L.P. provides free and reduced-fee legal care to those with a terminal illness or HIV. We understand legal issues can directly impact health and quality of life for everyone involved with a terminal illness or HIV. We provide legal care to those who normally may not have access to legal care.

How to get HELP

Services are available to anyone in the state of Arizona. Although located in Tucson, we are able to meet with you via phone, ZOOM, Skype, or FaceTime; and arrangements can be made for an in-person meeting. There is never any charge to contact H.E.L.P. and ask questions.
